OHIO DUCK HUNTING Seasons at a glance

Waterfowl hunting opens Oct. 18 in Ohio's north zone and Oct. 25 in the south zone.
Duck hunting (except pintails and canvasbacks) in the north zone is Oct. 18 through Nov. 29. A second split season will be Dec. 7 through 23. The north zone season for pintails is Oct. 18 through Nov. 16 and Oct. 31 through Nov. 29 for canvasbacks.
The south zone duck season (except pintails and canvasbacks) is Oct. 25 through Nov. 16. A second split season will be Dec. 13 through Jan. 18, 2004. The south zone season for pintails is Oct. 25 through Nov. 1 and a second split season will be Dec. 13 through Jan. 3, 2004. The south zone canvasbacks season is Dec. 13 through Jan. 11, 2004.
Young hunters, 15 and younger, will have their own special season statewide Oct.11 and 12.
