Rodney Toth wins two garden honors

YOUNGSTOWN -- Rodney Toth won the Horticulture Show with 21 points when the Men's Garden Club of Youngstown held the event Sept. 6 and 7 at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center at Mill Creek Park.
Martha Murphy and Fran Myers tied for second place with 14 points and Cathy Morgan took third with 13 points.
Toth also won best of show with "Dahlia - Show and Tell."
Youth winners were Rebecca Mowad with 22 points for first place; Collin Dotson and Rebecca Hartz tied for second place with 16 points, and Conner Dotson was third with nine points.
The event attracted 168 adult entries and 43 youth entries.
