FUND-RAISER Wigs For Kids plans dinner, dance Nov. 1

HOWLAND -- Wigs For Kids will sponsor a dinner dance Nov. 1 at Leo's Ristorante to raise funds for the organization.
Registration will begin at 6 p.m. along with a silent auction, and dinner will be served at 7. A live auction and dancing will follow. All proceeds will go to Wigs For Kids, an organization that provides hair replacement systems to children who have lost hair as a result of chemotherapy, radiation treatments, alopecia, burns or other medical circumstances.
Chairwoman of the event is Karla Winterburn, and serving on the committee are Lisa DelGarbino, Tina Humphries, John and Linda Murphy, Maureen Leach, Elizabeth DelGarbino, Laurie Benson, Joe Mineo, Thom Ciarniello, Jeannie Carder-Shimek, Fran DelGarbino and Lorraine Costarella.

Anyone interested in donating their hair to Wigs For Kids can visit Casal's de Spa & amp; Salon in Canfield or Salon TLC in Girard. Those donating hair will have it cut at no charge.
