AUSTINTOWN -- Police are seeking information about a township resident missing since Monday.
Robert W. Sesser, 60, of 850 N. Meridian Road, was last seen Monday by one of his elderly neighbors.
Relatives told police that Sesser, who is mentally challenged, told the neighbor that he'd been flagged down on Meridian Road by two younger women who may have had car trouble. The neighbor told Sesser's relatives, according to the police report, that the women may have needed a ride.
Sesser hasn't been seen since.
Nothing in his apartment seemed out of the ordinary, the report said, except that the messages on his answering machine hadn't been picked up.
Sesser is 5 feet 11 inches tall with an average build and weighs about 200 pounds. He has gray hair with long sideburns, brown eyes and a mustache. He drives a red 2001 Daewoo.
Anyone with information should call Austintown police at (330) 799-9721.
