RENEE STANKOKEN ENGLISH
XBOARDMAN -- Renee Christine Stanko, 7721 W. Parkside Drive, and Ken English, 610 Dorchester Drive, Hubbard, exchanged marriage vows Aug. 16 before the Rev. Daniel Venglarik and Deacon Michael Kocjancic at St. Charles Church. After the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, a reception was held at the Maronite Center, Youngstown.
Parents of the bride are Gary and Margaret Stanko of the Parkside Drive address. The groom is a son of Dave and Priscilla English, 7927 Budd St., Masury, and Nancy Hancock, 5925 Youngstown-Hubbard Road, Hubbard.
The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and live in Hubbard.
Mrs. English graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University where she is pursuing a master's in education. She is a substitute teacher in Boardman Local Schools.
Mr. English earned a bachelor's degree in business at YSU. He is the manager at Sky Bank in West Middlesex, Pa.
The bride wore a white satin gown styled with a chapel-length train and scoop-neck halter top with accents of crystals and beads on the bodice.
Honor attendant was Jennifer Stanko. Bridesmaids were Michelle Jones, Kelly Cunningham, Kari McCamon and Debi English. They wore lilac dresses. Flower girls were Marissa and Mariah Cashbaugh.
Best man was the groom's father. Groomsmen were Gary Stanko, Greg Stanko, Tommy Dobos and Jason Dean. Ring bearer was Michael Cunningham.
