XCINCINNATI -- The wedding of Meghan Adria McCaig and Jason Samuel Hanna took place at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 16 at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. The Rev. Bill Loveless officiated for the daughter of Linda McCaig and Donald McCaig, both of Cincinnati, and the son of Ray and Judi Hanna, 1376 Barbie Drive, Boardman.
A reception followed at the Cincinnati Club, and the couple honeymooned at Riviera Maya, Mexico. They live in Cleveland.
The bride's toffee satin gown was fashioned with spaghetti straps and a full, box-pleated skirt. Her veil was made by her great-grandmother and was previously worn by her mother and sister.
Melissa Welles was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Laurie Carlton, Ren & eacute;e Fischer, Jennifer Cooper, Marsha Pfefferle, Heather Heitzman, Kelly Fried, Jenn Finn and Beth Champion. They wore wine-colored gowns.
The grooms' father was best man, and groomsmen were Dr. David Fischer, Mike Carlton, Matthew Ross, Dr. Damon Reed, Tim Bessmeyer, Adam Brown, Eric Fried and Mike Welles. Jason Carlton was ring bearer and flower boy was Will Carlton.
Mrs. Hanna graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and earned a certificate in women in politics at the University of Massachusetts. She is a third-year student at Cleveland Marshall College of Law. Her husband holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Cincinnati and is employed at Cincinnati Insurance in Cleveland.
