HIGH TECH: Among the amenities at the University of Minnesota's Riverbend Commons residence halls is a state-of-the-art computer center. Other extras include outdoor barbecue grills, a party/entertainment room, basketball and sand volleyball courts, free washers and dryers and an ice machine.
