CATHERINE WANGSTEVEN CHOUNG
XYOUNGSTOWN -- Butler Institute of American Art provided the setting Aug. 16 for the wedding and reception of Dr. Catherine Wang, daughter of Dr. Hai-Shiuh and Florence Wang, all of Canfield, and Dr. Steven Choung, son of Kenneth and Jenny Choung, all of Northport, N.Y. The Rev. Ash Welch officiated.
Since returning from a honeymoon in Italy, the couple live in Orlando, Fla.
The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, attended Youngstown State University and Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine. She also attended Case Western Reserve University and completed a residency and a fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College. She is a staff ophthalmologist with Florida Eye, Orlando.
Dr. Choung graduated from Johns Hopkins University and the University of New York School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in orthopedics at Case Western and a fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York. He is an orthopedic surgeon in Orlando.
Melinda Wang was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Dr. Jennifer Wang, Stephanie Wang Breal, Dr. Denise Reddy and Dr. Jennifer Meyer. They wore red dresses. Flower girls were Ashley Mandel and Alex Choung.
Best man and ring bearer was Stanley Choung. Groomsmen were Dr. Howard Silversmith, Dr. Rajesh Bazaz, Dr. Jamie Skaggs and Dr. Andrew Chen.
