BOARDMAN Group to plan interchange and village programs
BOARDMAN -- The Children's International Summer Villages Greater Youngstown-Cleveland Chapter is having a meeting at 1 p.m. Sunday at the American Red Cross building, 8392 Tod Ave., to discuss its upcoming programs.
The nonprofit agency is taking applications for its interchange and village programs.
The agency's interchange program involves local children, between age 13 and 14, spending six weeks next summer with a child from Paris, half locally and the other half in France.
The four-week village program focuses on education and cultural and sporting activities that emphasize group involvement for 11-year-olds.
