* Michael Flatley's "Lord of the Dance" will arrive in Youngstown during the first week of its 42-city fall tour. "Lord of the Dance," which also is a permanent fixture at Venetian Hotel's Showroom in Las Vegas, will be performed Wednesday in Edward W. Powers Auditorium, 260 W. Federal St. First-timers and returnees alike rave about the traditional and modern Celtic music and dance program with its good-vs.-evil story line from Irish folklore. Call the Powers box office at (330) 744-0264 for tickets.
* Get tickets Monday for "Blast!", the touring version of the Broadway show that received the 2001 Tony Award for Best Special Theatrical Event. Inspired by the pageantry of Star of Indiana drum and bugle corps, "Blast!" will be performed from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2 in Benedum Center, 719 Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh. To buy tickets, which are $20 to $58, call (412) 456-6666.

* Indian musical legend Ravi Shankar will perform with his daughter, sitarist Anoushka Shankar, at 7 p.m. Oct. 5 in Benedum Center, Pittsburgh. Anoushka, 21, has been studying with her father since she was 9. Ravi Shankar has another daughter who's famous for her musical excellence -- jazz singer-pianist Norah Jones. Tickets are $37 to $67. Call (412) 456-6666.
* Fright Fest begins anew Sept. 26 at Station Square in Pittsburgh, which is renamed "Station Scare" for the Halloween season.
