CANFIELD
Sept. 10
Drug possession: Police arrested a 35-year-old Portland, Ind., woman on South Broad Street for possession of four rocks of suspected cocaine and two yellow pills believed to be Oxycontin.
Sept. 12
Theft: A private citizen told IGA store employees they saw someone leave the store with a cart of groceries without paying for them. Two suspects, a man and woman, were seen leaving the parking lot in a red RAV-4, a small sport-utility vehicle.
Sept. 14
Theft: Police arrested a 22-year-old Canfield man for taking from a mailbox a manilla envelope containing medical aids sent from the Cleveland Clinic to an address in the 300 block of Callahan Road.
Sept. 15
Theft: A blue flag with a large "M" on it and a small flag pole and bracket were stolen from a tree in front of a residence in the 800 block of Blueberry Hill.

Sept. 8
Abandoned vehicle: A 1988 Isuzu with no license plates was stolen from the Youngstown Inn, 1051 N. Canfield-Niles Rd.
Attempted burglary: Someone kicked in the door at a residence in the 20 block of North Roanoke Avenue.
Sept. 9
Breaking and entering: An undetermined amount of money and cigarettes were stolen from Vinnie's DriveThru, 1255 S. Raccoon Road.
Auto theft: A 1990 Chevrolet van was stolen from the 4000 block of Washington Square Drive.
Auto theft: A 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen from the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.
Theft: An employee is suspected of stealing at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A plasma burner, torches and cylinder were taken from Y & amp;D Industries, 3710 Henricks Road.

Auto theft: A 1987 Chevrolet Caprice was stolen from Smoker Friendly, 1643 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 3000 block of Allendale Avenue.
Attempted auto theft: The steering column was damaged on a 1989 Cadillac parked in the 1000 block of South Meridian Road.
Criminal damage: Two vehicles were damaged at Blue Ribbon Motors, 4004 Mahoning Ave.
Drug offense: Police arrested a teenage female for smoking marijuana at Forest Hill Drive and Huntmere Avenue.
Theft: A wallet and credit cards were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 6000 block of Slippery Rock Drive.
Theft: Checks and money were reported missing from an apartment in the 4000 block of Nantucket Boulevard.
Criminal damage: A cellar window was damaged in the 200 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Attempted theft: An unidentified man attempted to steal aluminum cans from a residence in the 5000 block of West Webb Road.
Theft by deception: A subject attempted to shortchange the victim using a $20 bill in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Auto theft: A 1990 Pontiac Grand Am was taken from a residence in the 800 block of North Meridian Road.
Burglary: A burglary was reported at a North Roanoke Avenue address.

Theft: Miscellaneous tools were stolen from a auto in the 1800 block of Elm Trace St.
Theft: A CD player was stolen from an auto at the ITT Technical School, 1030 N. Meridian Road.
Theft: A theft was reported at the BP station, 3602 Mahoning Ave. The suspect was driving a burgundy Ford Econoline van.
Theft: An ex-employee is accused of taking $122 from Brier Hill Pizza, 50 S. Meridian Road.
Drug arrest: Police arrested a man for possession of cocaine at the Austintown Library, 600 S. Raccoon Road.

Drug arrest: Police arrested a 19-year-old man for possession of marijuana at the intersection of Westgate Boulevard and Burkey Road.
Counterfeit: A counterfeit $10 bill was passed at The Babylon, 114 Javit Court.
Theft: A CD and cassette stereo was taken from a vehicle parked at the Hampton Inn, 880 Niles-Canfield Road.
Felonious assault: A man was struck with a bottle at Rockie's Lounge, 133 S. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A CD stereo was taken from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of South Inglewood Avenue.
Attempted theft/criminal damage: Damage was reported to a toolbox, and it is undetermined if any tools were taken. The toolbox was in a vehicle parked in the 5000 block of West Webb Road.
Criminal damage: A vehicle window was damaged in the 1000 block of Woodledge Drive.
Theft: A faceplate for a car stereo was stolen from a vehicle parked at the Hampton Inn.
Theft: A CD player was taken from a vehicle parked at the Hampton Inn.
Criminal damage: Windows were damaged at RB Fabricators, 4021 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: A stereo and an undetermined amount of change were taken from the 1000 block of Maplecrest
Drive.

Theft: Checkbooks and a wallet with credit cards were stolen from a home in the 600 block of Notre Dame Drive.
Criminal damage: A vehicle window was damaged in the 100 block of Westminster Avenue.
Criminal trespass: Police arrested a male teenager in the 4000 block of Washington Square Drive. He was released to his father's custody. Police suspect the teenager is involved in multiple thefts from autos.
Criminal damage: Paint damage and four tires were cut in the parking lot of the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: Items were removed from unlocked vehicles in a driveway in the 4000 block of Alderwood Place.
