Key matchup: Dallas coach Bills Parcells vs. Giants coach Jim Fassell. Parcells is first coach in Dallas' 44-year history to have prior experience as NFL head coach before taking over Cowboys. He coached Giants from 1983-90, winning two Super Bowls, and later coached Patriots and Jets. Parcells is 1-1 coaching against Giants. His all-time record is 149-106-1 and he'll become 13th coach in league history with 150 after next win. Fassell is 8-4 against Cowboys and has NFL's leading rusher, RB Tiki Barber, in his backfield.
Streaks, stats and notes: Dallas QB Quincy Carter threw for career-high 269 yards last week in loss to Falcons. Giants QB Kerry Collins averaged 255 yards per game en route to throwing for 4,073 yards in 2002. ... Barber has 100-plus yards from scrimmage in past three games against Cowboys. ... Giants WR Amani Toomer has 5,407 career yards receiving and needs 28 to pass Frank Gifford for most in franchise history.
