SCULPTURE SCRUB: Charlie Brown of the Troy Parks Department spray-washes a section of a hands-on musical sculpture, "Sound Chamber," that was recently moved from the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology to downtown Troy, a city north of Dayton. Brown was washing the sculpture Monday to prepare it for painting. The abstract art by Michael Bashaw is made of aluminum, steel and plastic and is 16 feet high and 35 feet wide.
