Phyllis Anthony, James Buckner to wed Oct. 31

XHIGH POINT, N.C. -- The engagement of Phyllis Suzanne Anthony and James Richard "Butch" Buckner, both of 1525 Laurel Crossing Parkway, Buford, Ga., is being announced by the bride-elect's parents, Phillip and Susan Anthony, 4447 Orchard Knob Lane.
Parents of the prospective groom are Fred and Patricia Buckner, 1206 Vine St., Girard.
Miss Anthony graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is a massotherapist and ballet teacher in the Atlanta area.
Mr. Buckner is a graduate of the Atlanta School of Music. He teaches drum technique and also performs with Go Lucky, a rock band and Work in Progress, a blues band in the Atlanta area.
The couple are planning their wedding for Oct. 31 at Freeport, Grand Bahama Island.
