Ms. Mort-Rhodes and Julian Pe & ntilde;a to be married

XThe engagement of Raini M. Mort-Rhodes, 2645 Wimber Ave. N.E., Warren, and Julian M. Pe & ntilde;a, 9 Arms Blvd., Niles, is announced by their parents.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Miller, 4028 Evaline St., Warren, and Jerry Mort, 417 Buckeye Lane, Niles. Parents of the future groom are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Keener, 11635 Blott Road, North Jackson, and Mr. and Mrs. John M. Pe & ntilde;a, 3003 Robinwood Drive, Lordstown.
The couple will be married during a 1 p.m. ceremony planned for Oct. 11 at First Federated Church, North Jackson. An early evening reception will be held at the Niles Moose Lodge. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony; the reception is open.
Ms. Mort-Rhodes is the owner-operator of Raini's Romper Room in Warren. She studied early childhood education at Ohio State University Cooperative Extension. Ms. Mort-Rhodes is attending Kent State University Trumbull Campus and pursuing a degree in justice studies.
The future groom is a delivery driver with R.L. Lipton in Boardman.
