Fore and aft, this is his craft, a dream boat

Above, Jack Zeller of Southington sails his 20-foot boat, which he built, on Mosquito Lake. Zeller, a retiree from the General Motors Assembly Division in Lordstown, said it took him about 14 months to build the wooden craft in the garage of his Trumbull County home. He is also a member of the Cleveland Amateur Boat Building Society. He sails the craft often at Mosquito and has also sailed it on the larger waters of Lake Erie. At left, Zeller readied the main sail on the small boat as he prepared to take it out on the lake last week.
