NORMAN, Okla. -- Jason White threw for 338 yards and four touchdowns and Renaldo Works ran for two more scores, as No. 1-ranked Oklahoma routed Fresno State 52-28.
The Sooners (3-0) seized control early, scoring on their first six possessions en route to a 38-0 halftime lead.
Fresno State (1-2) had nearly twice as many penalty yards (80) than offensive yards (43) in the first half. By then, the Bulldogs had only two first downs, one by penalty.
No. 2 Miami 38, East Carolina 3
MIAMI -- Frank Gore ran for 134 yards and a touchdown to help Miami extend the nation's longest home winning streak to 24.
Miami (3-0) opened the game with a touchdown on its third play, then stalled against the nation's worst rushing defense.
Gore averaged 5.6 yards on 24 carries and became the first player in school history to run for more than 100 yards in each of the first three games.
No. 4 Southern Cal 61, Hawaii 32
LOS ANGELES -- Matt Leinart threw two touchdown passes and Southern California's defense held Hawaii's Timmy Chang in check until late in the game.
Freshmen tailbacks Reggie Bush and Lendale White each ran for a pair of touchdowns as the Trojans won their 11th consecutive game stretching to last October. Leinart completed 15 of 21 passes for 200 yards and didn't play after the third quarter.
Arkansas 38, No. 6 Texas 28
AUSTIN, Texas -- Matt Jones kept Arkansas rolling through the air and on the ground, making the Razorbacks' return to Texas a huge success with a victory over the Longhorns.
Arkansas (2-0) beat its highest-ranked foe since 1999 and ended Texas' 20-game home winning streak.
Jones threw for one touchdown and ran for another early, then set up the game-sealing score by running a bootleg keeper 60 yards to the 1 midway through the fourth quarter.
The Longhorns (1-1) got to 28-21 when Dakarai Pearson returned a fumble by Jones 77 yards for a touchdown on the opening play of the fourth quarter. Jones answered by leading a 36-yard drive capped by a 1-yard run by De'Arrius Howard.
No. 7 Kansas St. 38,Massachusetts 7
MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Darren Sproles ran for 152 yards and three touchdowns and backup quarterback Jeff Schwinn passed for 228 yards as Kansas State beat Massachusetts.
Sproles had 115 yards at halftime and sparked a 21-0 burst in the second quarter after the Division I-AA Minutemen surprised the Wildcats (4-0) by taking a 7-3 lead.
Schwinn, a former walk-on stepping in for the injured Ell Roberson, was intercepted twice, including on his first possession. But the little-used senior eventually found his range and went 17-of-26 with one touchdown pass.
No. 8 Georgia 31,No. 25 South Carolina 7
ATEHNS, Ga. -- Reggie Brown helped Georgia end its three-year touchdown drought against South Carolina, catching two short scoring passes and setting up another TD with a longer reception.
Sean Jones led another dominating defensive performance by Georgia (3-0, 1-0 SEC), which just missed its second shutout of the season. The junior safety made two interceptions and a bone-rattling hit that stuffed a South Carolina drive.
The Gamecocks (2-1, 0-1) stumbled badly after a 31-7 upset of Virginia the previous week. The only consolation: Demetris Summers scored on a 37-yard screen pass from third-string quarterback Bennett Swygert with just 52 seconds remaining to avoid a shutout.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Chris Rix shook off two interceptions to run for one touchdown and pass for another in the final 7:09.
Rix's 5-yard touchdown pass to P.K. Sam, and Xavier Beitia's extra points kick put Florida State ahead with 2:57 left.
Washington St. 47,No. 17 Colorado 26
BOULDER, Colo. -- Sammy Moore caught a 74-yard touchdown pass and returned a kickoff 97 yards for another score as Washington State used big plays to beat Colorado.
The Cougars (2-1) scored 24 straight points in the first 6:39 of the third quarter to take a 47-13 lead. Two of those scores came off turnovers by Colorado (2-1).
Matt Kegel threw three touchdown passes for Washington State, including a 77-yard toss to Scott Lunde, and cornerback Jason David returned an interception 41 yards for another TD.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- DeShawn Wynn tied a school record with four touchdowns in Florida's last tuneup before the Southeastern Conference opener next week against Tennessee.
Ingle Martin threw for 139 yards and one touchdown. Chris Leak threw for 79 yards and another score. Wynn, a redshirt freshman, ran for 95 yards and joined Jesse Palmer, Fred Taylor and four others with the single-game TD record.
