Grove City 8, Washington & amp; Jefferson 1 -- Grove City College improved to 2-0 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. Grove City (2-1 overall) swept the doubles matches en route to its 66th consecutive PAC win.
John Carroll University 9, Westminster 0 -- The Titans fell to 1-3 by dropping their second straight match with a non-conference loss. John Carroll University did not lose a set en route to the victory.
VOLLEYBALL
Edinboro, Pa. -- Ashland and Lake Superior State University defeated Geneva, 3-0, and 3-2, respectively, in the Edinboro Universityi Tournament. Natalie Vidnovic had 20 kills in the two losses. Freshman Marisa Barickman knocked down 15 kills for Geneva (6-4) while Carly Fyfe had 10 kills. Against Lake Superior St., junior Laura Trieschman had 36 assists.
