XCAMPBELL -- The Rev. Michael Swierz heard the exchange of marriage vows as Tamara L. Tabak and Robert B. Thomson, both of 326 E. Park Ave., Hubbard, were married Aug. 9 at St. Joseph the Provider Church. After the 2 p.m. ceremony, a reception was held at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
Their parents are John and Elaine Tabak, Campbell, and Robert and Judi Thomson, Hubbard.
The couple honeymooned at Disney World, Orlando, Fla., and Daytona Beach, Fla.
The bride wore a white matte satin gown accented with embroidery on the bodice and skirt.
Mrs. Thomson graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education and is pursuing a master's in education-elementary reading and literacy at Walden University, Bloomfield, Ind. She is a second-grade and special education inclusion teacher in Campbell City Schools.
Mr. Thomson, a YSU graduate with a human resources degree, is operations supervisor at FedEx Freight East, Youngstown.
Michele Ackworth, the bride's sister, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Lisa Tabak, her sister-in-law; Stacey Fabrizio and Dawn Shaffer, the groom's sisters; Nicole Friedman; and Jennifer Harper. They wore silver dresses. The bride's cousin, Lucy Fralich, was flower girl.
Ed Williams was best man. Groomsmen were John Tabak Jr., the bride's brother; Mike Fabrizio, his brother-in-law; and Brad Symbolic, Ken Roth and Jeremy Harper. Ring bearer was Jachob Shaffer, his nephew.
