XCANFIELD -- Todd Baxter of West Chester and his bride, the former Rebecca Hovanec of Canfield, were honored during a reception at the Maronite Center, Youngstown, following their 2:30 p.m. Aug. 16 wedding at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
The Revs. John Wigle and Dan Wolboldt presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Robert and Susan Hovanec and son of Alan and Sandra Baxter, all of Canfield. After a honeymoon in Hawaii, they live in West Chester.
Pearls and embroidery enhanced the bride's strapless white princess-style gown. Her veil was gathered to a waxed orange blossom and pearl heirloom headpiece worn by her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Cream-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Danielle Sabella, and bridesmaids, Bridget Gauntner, Jamie Hovanec, Leslie DiRenzo, Sara Dodson, Jessica Fisher, Sandra Bolls, and Bethann Bober. Flower girls were Amanda Hovanec and Ashley Baxter.
Chris Bland was best man, and groomsmen were A.J. Crosucci, Jeff Odoguardi, Kevin Sharp, Mark Balint, Robbie Hovanec, Jamie DiRenzo and Shawn Baxter. Ring bearers were Tyler Hovanec and Tristan Nevotne.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree in education from Mount Union College, and is a teacher at Lakota Local School District in West Chester.
The groom, a salesman with Pennsylvania Tool Sales and Service in Sharonville, graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in business.
