XPETERSBURG -- Kevin Maughan of Canfield and his bride, the former Miriam E. Helle of Poland, spent their honeymoon in the Pocono Mountains after their 2:30 p.m. Aug. 9 wedding at St. John Lutheran Church and reception afterward at Shangri La in Canfield.
The Rev. Ken Hacker presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Larry and Martha Helle of Poland and the son of Mary Ann Maughan of Canfield and the late Thomas Maughan.
The bride's white satin A-line gown featured elaborate beading on the bodice and at the hemline.
Light blue gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Beth Catlos, the bride's sister; and Lisa Sicafuse, and the bridesmaids, Kelsey Codner; Kristen Johnson; Karen Maughan, the groom's sister; Stacy Colwell; and Stacey Luce. Flower girl was Abigail Catlos.
Anthany DePinto and Bill Conaway shared the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Matt Brickley; R.J. Adair; Dan Catlos, the bride's brother-in-law; Vic Gasior; and Jon Burky.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in human resources. She is employed by Windsor House Inc. in Burton as a licensed nursing home administrator at Burton Health Care Center.
The groom, a computer support representative with Windsor House Inc., Girard, holds a degree in computer information systems from YSU.
