XMADISON -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 10 as Jodi Lynne Augustine and Gene John Bukky, both of 1879 LaFevre, Harpersfield, were united in marriage by the Rev. William Alvey during a ceremony at Park United Methodist Church.
The daughter of Carol Augustine, 517 Illinois Ave., McDonald, and the late Robert Augustine, and son of Nancy Bukky, 5625 Middle Ridge, and Thomas Bukky, North Ridge Road, were honored afterward at a reception at Claire's Grand River Winery.
After a wedding trip to Marco Island, the couple live in Harpersfield.
The bride's sleeveless gown featured an ivory skirt and a beaded bustier with laced back.
Navy and periwinkle blue gowns were worn by the bride's mother and honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Lisa Warren of Okauchee, Wis., and Staci Conley of East Liverpool, sisters of the bride; and Julie Bukky of Madison, the groom's sister.
The duties of best man were performed by Tom Clark of Madison, and ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Zachary Conley of East Liverpool. Guests were ushered by the groom's uncles, Arnold Malkamaki and Oley Claypool, both of Madison, and Ralph Adams of Salem.
The bride is a stylist with R. Rose and Company, and the groom is an operator with Star Excavating.
