Tuesday: Lake County tour, including Lawnfield (home of President James A. Garfield), lunch and wine tasting at the Firehouse Winery, guided tour of Mary Elizabeth Garden at the Lake County Nursery and Champion Garden Town Center; cost is $49.
Oct. 10-13: Green Mountains of southern Vermont, including stay at Horizon Inn in Wilmington, Vt., Mount Mansfield gondola ride, Mount Mills scenic boat cruise, Adams' Family Farm and wagon ride, Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream factory, lunch at Von Trapp Family Lodge and eight meals; cost is $649.
Nov. 23: George Jones concert at Oglebay Park, W.Va., matinee show at Capitol Music Hall, including dinner at Mehlman Cafeteria, guided tour of Festival of Lights and gift shopping at Christmas in the Gardens; cost is $72.
