Eisenbreis mark golden jubilee at celebration



XCANFIELD -- Mr. and Mrs. Richard P. Eisenbrei of Canfield were honored Aug. 31 at a dinner party at Tippecanoe Country Club on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. Arrangements for the festivity were made by the couple's children and daughter-in-law, Keith and Robin Eisenbrei of Canfield, and Gayle Terry of Frisco, Texas. Two grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Eisenbrei and the former Mary Carole Maloney were married Oct. 10, 1953, at St. John the Baptist Church in Canton.
He worked for 45 years in the steel industry as a producer and supplier and is a life member of the Association of American Iron and Steel Engineers and the Iron and Steel Society. He retired in 1998 from Ellwood Engineered Castings in Hubbard where he was vice president of technical marketing and sales. He also served in the U.S. Naval Reserves during the Korean War.
His wife was owner and operator of three local TCBY Yogurt franchises until retiring in 1996.
The couple maintain a winter home in Tucson, Ariz. They are members of St. Michael Church.
