Denise Barnes to be bride of Eugene Carper

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Earnestine Barnes of Youngstown is announcing plans for the autumn wedding of her daughter, Denise A. Barnes, and Eugene Carper both of Youngstown.
The future groom is a son of Robert Carper Sr. of Beaver, Pa., and Geraldine Banks of Niles and the late Wilbur Banks.
Miss Barnes, also a daughter of the late Clarence Barnes, is a fiscal manager with Mahoning Law Library Association. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and earned an accounting/computer specialist associate degree from Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, Canfield.
Mr. Carper, the owner and chief executive officer with Sharp Auto Body Limited, attended YSU.
The couple will exchange nuptial vows during a 4 p.m. Oct. 11 ceremony at New Bethel Baptist Church. Invitations will be issued for the wedding and also for an evening reception at Stambaugh Auditorium.
