Deadline nears to order bricks

MERCER, Pa. -- The deadline for ordering engraved bricks for the Mercer Memorial and Honor Garden for fall 2003 is Tuesday.
Bricks will be placed in the gardens on the north side of the courthouse the week of Oct. 14.
Bricks cost $53 each, including tax, and may be inscribed with up to three lines of print with a maximum of 17 characters per line.
Proceeds will be used to maintain the gardens, which honor Mercer County residents past and present, Mercer County organizations and anyone with a connection to the county.
