Summary of police activity for Girard, Liberty and Hubbard:
GIRARD
Sept. 8
Vandalism: Someone threw two beer bottles and broke a plate-glass window at Sheila's Hair by Design, 14 W. Main St.
Theft: An employee at The Flower Basket, 32 W. Liberty St., reported $1,500 missing from a desk area.
Theft: A man in the 50 block of East Main Street reported two speakers stolen from the back of his pickup truck.
Recovered property: A 1994 Chevrolet Beretta and a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera stolen from AF Auto Sales, 1000 S. State St., were recovered in Youngstown.
Theft: A woman reported her son's bicycle taken from the front yard of her residence in the 900 block of Shannon Road.
Truck theft: A 1993 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck was stolen from Jerry's Auto Body, 1224 S. State St.
Sept. 9
Theft: An employee at Burger King, 322 S. State St., discovered $50 missing from a cash drawer.
Vandalism: A woman reported that someone threw a rock through a front window at her residence in the 70 block of Cheyenne Drive.
Attempted auto theft, criminal damage: Someone tried to steal three vehicles from a fenced-in area at Lumpp Auto Sales, 1429 S. State St. Also, two cars had their dashboards and steering columns damaged, one had its windshield damaged, and another had a passenger-side window broken.
Recovered property: A 1987 Chevrolet Celebrity stolen in the 600 block of Trumbull Avenue was recovered in Austintown.
Theft: A man reported his bicycle stolen while he was at Frankford Bicycle Inc. in Mineral Ridge.
Sept. 10
Recovered property: A Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck stolen from Steve's Auto Body & amp; Repair, 717 S. State St., was recovered after being involved in an accident in Youngstown.
LIBERTY
Sept. 1
Theft: A woman reported her cellular phone stolen from a field behind the former Liberty High School site, 317 Church Hill-Hubbard Road.
Sept. 2
Criminal damage: A woman in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive reported that someone let the air out of one of her vehicle's tires and tossed eggs at the car.
Vehicular assault: After following a suspicious vehicle thought to be stolen from the Eastwood Mall, police alleged the driver, a man in his 20s, struck their cruiser before he fled toward Youngstown in the car.
Theft: A woman reported a CD player and 30 to 40 CDs stolen from her vehicle in the 8200 block of Logan Gate Road.
Arrest: Police arrested a 38-year-old Baltimore man at the Econo Lodge, 1615 Liberty St., on a criminal trespass charge after an employee there said he refused to leave.
Sept. 3
Drugs: After conducting a traffic stop on Belmont Avenue, police arrested a 29-year-old Warren woman on charges including possession of drug paraphernalia and having an open container of alcohol. Officers found a suspected marijuana pipe in the glove compartment and a bag of suspected cocaine in her pocket.
Criminal damage: An employee at Logan Swim & amp; Tennis Club, 3245 Logan Way, reported that someone broke a swimming pool filter pipe and damaged two parking-lot posts.
Sept. 4
Arrest: An Alliance man, 28, was arrested in Salem on a theft warrant.
Criminal damage: An employee at Belmont Pines Hospital, 615 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, reported that someone slashed a tire on her vehicle.
Theft: A cellular phone was removed from a vehicle in the 1800 block of Tibbetts-Wick Road.
Theft: A Niles man reported his wallet stolen while he worked in the 100 block of Euclid Avenue.
Arrest: Police arrested a 19-year-old Youngstown man at E.J. Blott Elementary School, 4115 Shady Road, on a criminal trespass charge.
Sept. 5
Criminal damage: Someone used a garden spade to cut several holes in an apartment building's walls in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive.
Possible auto theft: A woman in the 3100 block of Hadley Avenue reported that a Girard man borrowed her 1991 Chevrolet Cavalier and failed to return it.
Arrest: After a traffic stop on Motor Inn Drive, an Augusta, Ga., man, 49, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse (cocaine); and an Andover man, 27, was charged with providing false information and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police found an open container of beer in the car and two suspected crack pipes, and alleged one of the men possessed a bag of suspected cocaine.
Sept. 6
Assault: A Youngstown boy, 14, alleged that a male juvenile tossed loose change at him while they were at Pizza Hut, 3903 Belmont Ave., and later grabbed him around the neck during a fight.
Theft: A man in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue reported a Giant Eagle card stolen.
Sept. 8
Arrests: After a traffic stop at a Speedway gas station, 4210 Belmont Ave., police arrested a 37-year-old Toledo man on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and driving under a suspended license. Two Toledo girls, 15 and 16, were charged with obstructing official business and being delinquent children.
Theft: A woman reported a laptop computer and a cellular phone removed from her residence in the 900 block of Church Hill-Hubbard Road.
Theft: Someone took a stereo from a car in the 3100 block of Hadley Avenue before trying to steal the vehicle.
Theft: Someone removed a registration sticker from a vehicle in the 10 block of Trumbull Court.
HUBBARD
Sept. 5
Arrest: Police arrested a Hubbard man on a warrant charging him with forgery and receiving stolen property.
Robbery: A South Main Street woman reported being robbed near South Main Street and Belle Vista Avenue.
Sept. 6
Theft: A woman in the 500 block of Meadowland Drive reported that a man refused to return her Sony PlayStation 2 game system.
Sept. 7
Drugs: A man in the 30 block of Mackie Drive reported finding suspected drug equipment in his son's backpack.
Sept. 8
Thefts: Two South Main Street women, a Helen Drive woman and a Roosevelt Drive man reported property stolen from their vehicles.
Burglary: A woman in the 100 block of West Liberty Street reported property stolen from her apartment.
Theft: A man reported various items taken from his car in the 500 block of Meadowland Drive.
