Summary of recent police activity for Boardman:
Sept. 2
Arrests: Police arrested a Boardman boy, 17, and a Youngstown woman, 45, at the Terrace Motel, 4972 Market St. The boy was charged with obstructing official business and resisting arrest; the woman faced charges of driving under a suspended license and passing bad checks.
Bad checks: Police arrested a 37-year-old West Park, Ohio, man on warrants charging him with passing bad checks after an employee at NU Wireless reported receiving a $436.24 corporate check drawn on a closed account.
Theft: A man in the 7300 block of West Boulevard reported finding his vehicle's driver's-side door partially open and a $200 tape deck stolen. Also, a woman discovered her car's door ajar and 10 CDs, a bag of jewelry, Ohio registration papers and three bottles of medication stolen. Five other people discovered their vehicles' contents tampered with.
Truck theft: A 1989 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen from a driveway in the 5100 block of Sheridan Road.
Theft: A man reported his cellular phone missing from his vehicle parked at the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Police charged a 31-year-old Warren man with theft and receiving stolen property after an employee at Dillard's in the Southern Park Mall reported seeing someone steal $277.50 worth of men's clothing.
Auto theft: A 1985 Buick Electra was stolen from an apartment complex in the 6300 block of South Avenue.
Theft: A man reported a $300 revolver stolen from his residence in the 400 block of Gardenwood Drive.
Theft: A woman in her 20s was accused of stealing a pair of shoes from Kid's Foot Locker in the Southern Park Mall.
Criminal damage: A woman reported a CD player, 20 CDs and her vehicle's dashboard damaged while her car was at the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Someone removed a CD player's faceplate from a car parked at Cinemark Movies 8, 469 Boardman-Poland Road.
Sept. 3
Arrest: Police arrested a 25-year-old Boardman man at the Knox County, Ohio, jail on two warrants charging him with receiving stolen property after a woman reported her 1987 Oldsmobile Calais taken from a parking lot in the 7500 block of Market Street.
Theft: Police arrested a 12-year-old Youngstown boy on a theft charge after a pair of shoes was taken from Value City Department Store, 1130 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A 29-year-old Youngstown woman was charged with theft after a pair of black tennis shoes was stolen from Kohl's.
Theft: Police arrested two Youngstown boys, 13 and 14, on theft charges after three pairs of tennis shoes, two packs of socks, two packs of batteries and a tube of lip balm were stolen from Value City Department Store.
Arrest: A 32-year-old Youngstown woman was charged with failure to appear in court to face a charge of passing bad checks and obstructing official business. Police say she provided false information to avoid arrest.
Theft: A Youngstown woman, 21, and two Youngstown girls, both 15, were charged with theft after $29 worth of women's undergarments was stolen from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive. One of the girls also was charged with complicity to theft.
Burglary: A man reported being a burglary victim at his residence in the 7400 block of East Huntington Drive. A laptop computer and a portable DVD player were stolen.
Theft: A woman reported a $500 gold wedding band stolen from her residence in the 1800 block of Lemont Drive.
Sept. 4
Theft: Police arrested a 28-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after six T-shirts and two other shirts were stolen from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Robbery: Police charged a 15-year-old Salem boy with robbery at Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road. A pair of shoes was taken. He also was charged with underage possession of cigarettes.
Theft: A man in the 7100 block of Ron Park Drive reported a garage door opener and a credit card removed from his vehicle.
Theft: A Youngstown man reported a leather wallet, an Ohio driver's license, a Veteran's Administration card and two other credit cards stolen from his room at the Terrace Motel, 4972 Market St.
Theft: An employee at a McDonald's restaurant, 15 Boardman-Canfield Road, discovered $350 missing from an office desk.
Robbery: Police arrested a 53-year-old Youngstown man on a robbery charge after an employee at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive, said the man struggled with and kicked the victim when he tried to stop the suspect after a theft. He also was charged with possessing criminal tools after police say he wrapped a bandage around his waist to conceal 10 packs of cigarettes.
Sept. 5
Arrest: After a traffic stop at a Sunoco gas station, 5721 Market St., police charged a 33-year-old Austintown man with possession of drugs (OxyContin) and receiving stolen property.
Recovered property: A 1986 Chevrolet Caprice stolen from the Gabriel Bros. parking lot was recovered in the 2300 block of Volney Road.
Fraud: An employee at LeRoy's Jewelers in the Southern Park Mall reported that a woman in her 20s tried to make a purchase using a stolen credit card.
Assault: An eighth-grade pupil reported being assaulted while she was on a school bus in Boardman.
Sept. 6
Arrest: Police charged a 23-year-old Youngstown woman with obstructing official business after they alleged she gave false information about her identity during an investigation.
Arrest: After running a vehicle registration check in the Giant Eagle parking lot, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road, police arrested a 46-year-old Cleveland man on a parole violation charge.
Theft: A woman discovered her purse, house keys and cellular phone missing from a dressing room she used at the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A woman reported her purse, a 35 mm camera, an Ohio operator's license and three credit cards missing from a table at Antone's Paninos & amp; Pasta, 720 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Assault: A Glenbrook Road woman reported being assaulted while she was at Dot's Inc., 255 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Criminal damage: A man reported two broken windows at his rental property in the 300 block of Meadowbrook Avenue.
Theft: Police arrested a 34-year-old Boardman woman on a theft charge after $223 worth of jewelry items was stolen from Kaufmann's.
Theft: A woman reported that a man took her purse from a shopping cart she used at Marc's, 7121 Tiffany Blvd.
Theft: Police charged a Youngstown man, 18, with complicity to theft and a Youngstown woman, 24, with theft after 22 miscellaneous clothing items were stolen from Wal-Mart.
Criminal damage: An employee at The Mobile Solution in the Southern Park Mall discovered two windows damaged at the business.
Criminal damage, theft: A vehicle's rear passenger-side window and dashboard were damaged, and a CD player and 15 CDs were stolen, while the car was parked near Buffalo Wild Wings.
Recovered property: A 1990 Oldsmobile 88 stolen from the Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot was recovered near the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall. The car had been ransacked and a stereo was removed.
Arrest: Police arrested a 22-year-old Warren man at the Southern Park Mall on charges of voyeurism, possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse.
Sept. 7
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 35-year-old man at his Stratmore Avenue home on a domestic-violence charge after a woman alleged he assaulted her at their residence.
Theft: Police charged a 20-year-old Youngstown man with theft after an undetermined amount of property was stolen from J.C. Penney.
Auto theft: A 1990 Oldsmobile Delta 88 was stolen from in front of an apartment in the 50 block of Prestwick Drive.
Attempted auto theft: Someone damaged a 1991 Chevrolet Camaro in the 200 block of Prestwick Drive before trying to steal it.
Theft: A woman reported her purse containing $150 and seven credit cards stolen from the Cochran's Sparkle Market parking lot, 4121 South Ave.
Identity theft: A Canfield man reported that someone used his personal information to buy four gold-spoke wire wheels, worth a total of $2,500, from The Mobile Solution.
Burglary: A man in the 7400 block of Glenwood Avenue reported 125 collector's coins and about $10 worth of loose change stolen from his residence.
