Lowellville runs past Warriors 7-0 for third straight victory



LOWELLVILLE -- Jeff Peterson rushed for 82 yards and Jack Noble gained 79 more Friday as the Lowellville High football team defeated Brookfield, 7-0.
Noble scored on a 1-yard run in the second quarter for the game's only score.
The Rockets (3-0) gained 202 yards while limiting the Warriors (1-2) to 79 total yards and eight first downs. The Rockets turned the ball over three times (two fumbles and one interception).

BERLIN CENTER -- Senior quarterback Luke Srock rushed for 214 yards on 22 carries and scored on runs of 10, 5 and 20 yards and he also caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from Quarterback Jake Zatchok.
Zatchok, a senior who also scored on a 1-yard run, connected on 11 of 19 passes for 167 yards as the Blue Devils won for the first time in three outings.
The Trojans (1-2) were limited to 54 rushing and 46 passing yards.

McDONALD -- Mike Marvin scored on a 14-yard run in the second quarter for a 6-0 lead and the Leopards (2-1) never looked back. He also tallied on a 8-yard run and finished with 46 yards on 14 carries.
