MASONS High Twelve Club 720 installs officers for the coming season



YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown Masonic Temple on Wick Avenue was the setting Sept. 5 for the installation of officers for Temple on the Hill High Twelve Club 720 for the coming season.
Inducted as president was the Rev. John R. Selders, the minister of Christ's Church.
Selders has served many positions in Masonry and is the master of Western Star Lodge 21 in Boardman.
A 33rd degree Mason of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Youngstown, he is a past most wise master of Youngstown Chapter of Rose Croix and a cast member of several degrees. He is the illustrious master in Buechner Council 107 of Youngstown, captain of the host in Youngstown Chapter 93, and standard bearer in St. John's Commandery 20.
He is also a member of Al Koran Shrine, Youngstown Shrine Club and Aut Mori Grotto. A Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International, he is a member of the Order of Merlin of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and Youngstown Magic Club.
One of the founding ministers of the Youngstown Police Department chaplaincy program, Selders lives with his wife, Shirley Ann, in Austintown.

Also installed were G. Edward Humphrey, first vice president; Howard C. Bodine, second vice president; Clare Beckman, third vice president; Paul Morice, secretary; Robert Garver, treasurer; Richard Roumfort, assistant treasurer; August Angel, chaplain; and Robert Leedy, sergeant-at-arms.
Serving as trustees will be James W. Hill, Angel and Jack Fay. Chairmen of various departments are Glenn Ellis, wolcott; Wallace McCartney, program; and Jack Feeley, publicity. Hill will also be Masonic representative.
The installation ceremony was conducted by Thomas Bevington, state president, and other state officers.
Vocal selections were presented by Deanna Anderson, a daughter of the Selderses, and a luncheon was served by Bill Weems and the Acadia Club.
