XBERLIN CENTER -- The Rev. Russell Libb presided at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 2 as Stephanie Speece, 4820 S. Duck Creek Road, North Jackson, and Thomas Taranto, 29 Kirk St., Canfield, were united in marriage at Berlin Center United Methodist Church.
The daughter of Steve and Dawn Speece of the North Jackson address and the son of Nick and Judy Taranto, 29118 Osborn Road, Bay Village, accepted congratulations during a reception at the Maronite Center, Youngstown.
After a honeymoon in Hawaii, they live at the groom's address.
Fashioned with spaghetti straps and a scooped neckline, the bride's gown was enhanced with pearls and crystals and featured an organza train.
Claret-red gowns were worn by the bride's sisters and honor attendants, Andrea and Jaclyn Speece, and the bridesmaids, Virginia Hoey, Ashley Schafer and Michelle Bilas. Flower girls were the groom's nieces, Katy Taranto and Katie Taranto.
T.J. Putnam served as best man, and groomsmen were Matt Speece, the bride's brother; Luke Bawazer; Ben Kotinsley; and Brian Burger. Ring bearers were the bride's cousins, Philip Frady and Jordan Smith.
The bride graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Ohio State University in Columbus. She is a physical therapist at Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital in Warren.
The groom earned a degree in marketing and transportation and logistics from OSU.
