XYOUNGSTOWN -- Sandra L. Roberts, daughter of Mike and Connie Roberts, 1555 Weston Ave., became the bride of Paul A. Bindas Jr., son of Paul and Mary Beth Bindas, 308 Colonial Drive, Canfield, during a 2 p.m. ceremony Aug. 9 at Christian Assembly of Youngstown.
The Rev. Jerry Hunt officiated, and the couple were honored at a reception at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman. After a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, they are living in Canfield.
Fashioned of white silk satin, the bride's sheath-style gown featured a scoop neckline and spaghetti straps. It was embellished with crystals and pearls and was designed with a detachable train.
Her sisters, Diane Strobel and Christine Rotz, were matrons of honor, and bridesmaids were Ashley Bindas, the groom's daughter; Kris Melewski, his sister; Kris Miller; and Gina, April and Ashley Ruse, the bride's cousins. They wore bronze gowns. Flower girl was the groom's niece, Marisa Melewski.
Pat and Tom Bindas shared the duties of best man for their brother, and groomsmen were Chuck Rotz and John Strobel, the bride's brothers-in-law; Chas Rotz, her nephew; Ted Melewski, the groom's brother-in-law; Matt DiLoretto; and Steve Harper. The groom's son, Jacob Bindas, and the bride's nephew, Christopher Rotz, were ring bearers.
Mrs. Bindas is an assembler at Altronic Inc. in Girard.
Her husband is a toll collector with the Ohio Turnpike Commission in Canfield.
