XYOUNGSTOWN -- Claude W. Bentley III of Columbus and his bride, the former Patrice M. Baker, also of Columbus, honeymooned on a western Caribbean cruise after their wedding Aug. 2 at New Bethel Baptist Church performed by the Rev. Kenneth L. Simon.
The daughter of Marcella Baker and Michael Grace, 820 W. Woodland Ave., and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude W. Bentley Jr., 848 Woodford Ave., were honored during a reception at St. Mark's Hall, Liberty.
The bride wore a beaded A-line strapless gown.
Mrs. Bentley is studying draft and design technology at Technology Education College, Columbus. She is a state-certified nurse's aide. Mr. Bentley attended Youngstown State University. He is an associate with Big Lots Warehouse, Columbus.
Honor attendant was Gerleanna Baker, and bridesmaids were Camellia Baker, Ann Baker, Serina Olds, Pamela Stennis, Porsha Baker, Tessia Day, Theresa Williams and Terry Day. They wore wine- and champagne-colored dressess. Flower girls were Cayla Bentley, Malaysia Hunter, Tijasia Lette and Shaniya Ray.
Best man was Jonathan A. Bentley. Groomsmen were Sam Haskins, Edward Long, Keith Evans, Randolph Dotson, Patrick Pickard, Robert Pickard, Marcus Williams and Joseph Rober. Ring bearer was Anthony Clark and bell ringer, Demond Clark. Ushers were Antwan Grace, Adam Gilbert and Steven Pickard.
Also participating were Selina Olds, Waltera Olds and Jasmine Baker.
