XYOUNGSTOWN -- Monsignor Lawrence Fye officiated at noon Aug. 2 at St. Columba Cathedral for the wedding of Maureen Lynn Kushma, 4587 Grayton Road, Cleveland, and Robert James LaCivita, 36550 Chester Road, Avon.
After a reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman, the couple left for Aruba.
Since their return they are living in Avon.
Mr. and Mrs. Dale A. Kushma, 7414 Sierra Madre Trail, Boardman, are parents of the bride, and the groom's parents are Atty. and Mrs. Richard J. LaCivita, 3698 Tippecanoe Place, Canfield.
The bride's white satin A-line gown was enhanced with lace, pearls and crystals, and the full shirt flowed into a cathedral train.
Amethyst gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Kimberly Zavarello and Theresa Detec, and the bridesmaids, Lori Crook, Toni Kozar, Rachel LaCivita, Roslyn Schmidt, Lisa Chance, Lisa Colla, Jaime Connolly, Nicole Pascarella and Stacy Racer. Flower girl was Jessica Kozar.
Best man duties were shared by Ryan LaCivita and Rich LaCivita, and groomsmen were Dale Kushma, Sean Kushma, Joe Kozar, John Capple, Sean Banks, Joel DeSocio, Bob Hamzick, Jeff Kurz and Frank Licata.
The bride, a nail technician with Charles Scot and West in Westlake, graduated from the Ford Beauty Academy, Boardman.
The groom, an attorney with the law firm of Shapiro and Felty in Cleveland, holds a bachelor's degree from Miami University and a juris doctorate from Cleveland Marshall College of Law.
