LIMELIGHT Awards, achievements



WARREN -- Dr. Jagdish Patel of Warren has earned the title of certified medical director in long-term care from the American Medical Directors Certification Program. The CMD program recognizes the dual clinical and administrative roles of a medical director and requires indicators of competence in both areas. Dr. Patel is a family-medicine specialist on the staff of St. Joseph Health Center and has offices in both Warren and Howland. He is local chapter president of the Academy of Family Practice in Mahoning and Trumbull counties.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Steven S. Shagrin, a certified financial planner for Planning for Life in Youngstown, presented a general session on incorporating life planning into one's practice and was part of a team presenting at four other sessions at the third annual Garrett Planning Network retreat in Kansas City recently. The network is an alliance of fee-only financial planners.
AUSTINTOWN -- William Boni, vice president and chief information security officer for Motorola, has been elected to the board of directors of the Computing Technology Industry Association. An Austintown native and graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, Boni has a bachelor's degree in security management from Youngstown State University and lives in Schaumburg, Ill. CompTIA is a global trade association representing the business interests of the information technology industry.
SHARON, Pa. -- Jane Roqueplot of JaneCo's Sensible Solutions in Sharon has been awarded the Certified Workforce Development Professional credential by the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals. The certification recognizes the training and experience of work force development professionals in 12 areas of competency.
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- F.N.B. Corp., holding company for First National Bank of Pennsylvania, has been named a Dividend Achiever by Mergent, Inc., which provides global business and financial information on publicly traded companies. The company ranks 49th out of 284 companies Mergent tracks that increased regular dividends for at least 10 consecutive calendar years.
