Bungards feted at family dinner on anniversary

XBERLIN CENTER -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bungard of Berlin Center was celebrated during a family dinner party held Aug. 10 at the Springfield Grille in Boardman.
Hosting the festivity were the couple's children and their spouses, Diane and Robert Miller of Mineral Ridge and David and Linda Bungard of Salem. Five grandsons complete the family circle.
The former Evelyn Palcisco of Commodore, Pa., and Mr. Bungard were united in marriage Aug. 10, 1953, at the First Christian Church in Newton Falls.
Mr. Bungard served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II and retired from the Ravenna Arsenal in 1988. Mrs. Bungard is a homemaker.
