Billetts mark 70th anniversary at family dinner

XBOARDMAN -- The 70th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. William Billett, 7593 W. Parkside Drive, was celebrated during a family dinner party Aug. 30 at the summer home of their daughter and son-in-law, Kay and John Nierlich, Perch Row Drive, Catawba Island.
The former Domenica Ambrose and Mr. Billett exchanged marriage vows Aug. 26, 1933, at St. Charles Church. They are members of the church.
Mr. Billett was vice president of Hitchcock Realty-Management Corp. until his retirement in 1978.
Mrs. Billett is a homemaker. She is a retired member and officer of the Democratic Club.
The family circle includes eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
