XGIRARD -- Allyson Miles, 709 Florida Ave., McDonald, and James Jones, 408 Indiana Ave., McDonald, were married Aug. 2 at St. Rose Church.
The 2 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. James Walker, the groom's uncle, and a reception followed at McMenamy's in Niles.
After a honeymoon to Paradise Island in the Bahamas, the couple live at the groom's address.
The bride is a daughter of Joan Bako Miles of the Florida Avenue address and Mr. and Mrs. William Miles, 8642 Quail Hollow Court, Holland. The groom is a son of Sharon Jones, 930 Ohio Ave., McDonald.
Mrs. Jones graduated with a bachelor's degree in education from Youngstown State University, where she is pursuing a master's in education. She is a second-grade teacher in McDonald Local Schools.
Mr. Jones is employed by AVI Food Systems in Warren.
Embroidery and Swarovski crystals embellished the bride's white, strapless A-line gown.
The bride's cousin, Jennifer Stasiak of Niles, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were the groom's cousins, Courtney Dombroski and Kim Jones, both of McDonald; Jaime Carman, Delaware, Ohio; Rachel Foley, Niles; and Carlye Westervelt, McDonald. They wore kiwi-colored dresses.
Anthony Rozzo of Lakewood was best man. Groomsmen were Brian Miles of McDonald and Chris Schulay of Brunswick, the bride's brothers; Chad Jones of McDonald, the groom's cousin; Sean Schmidt of McDonald; and Jeff Meyers of Warren.
