HUBBARD
Aug. 28
Criminal mischief: An employee at Hubbard High School, 350 Hall Ave., reported a student damaged property on school grounds.
Aug. 30
Theft: A woman reported the front license plate removed from her vehicle in the 600 block of Dorchester Drive.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a Hubbard man on a domestic-violence charge after the man's sister alleged he hit their mother at the victim's residence in the 900 block of Saul Drive.

Theft: A woman reported a man posing as a pest-control worker stole a prescription pain medication from her mother's apartment in the 600 block of West Park Avenue.
Theft: A girl in the 40 block of Cyrus Street reported her bicycle stolen from in front of an apartment complex in the 300 block of Parkview Drive.

Theft: A Campbell man reported someone removed an emblem from his vehicle in the 400 block of West Liberty Street.

Criminal damage: A man reported damage to a building he owns in the 100 block of East Liberty Street.
Theft: An employee at Morrow's Auto Service Inc., 1200 N. Main St., reported a theft of services.

Aug. 25
Burglary: Someone broke into a residence in the 4700 block of East Drive and took a computer, $300 worth of jewelry, a videocassette recorder and a stereo.
Auto theft: A 1988 Chevy Cavalier was stolen from a parking lot in the 900 block of Trumbull Avenue.
Aug. 26
Recovered property: An employee at Sacred Heart Retreat House, 3128 Logan Way, found a bag containing five wristwatches, six key chains and other pieces of jewelry.
Aug. 27
Burglary: Someone broke into an apartment in the 3000 block of Frederick Street through the front door and stole a DVD player, a VCR, a gold-plated tea set, a camera and numerous pieces of jewelry.
Robbery: A Youngstown woman reported a man in his mid-20s grabbed her purse and fled on foot before she got into her car in the Liberty Plaza parking lot, 3551 Belmont Ave. Three prescription bottles and $22 were taken.
Theft: A man discovered a laptop computer missing from his vehicle parked at his residence in the 3400 block of Fifth Avenue.
Theft: A woman who accidentally left her wallet at Antone's Italian Cafe, 3551 Belmont Ave., found the wallet, but discovered $40 removed from it.

Auto theft: A 1990 Buick Park Avenue was stolen in the 200 block of Colonial Drive.
Aug. 29
Burglary: Someone broke into a residence in the 900 block of Tibbets-Wick Road through a basement window and removed a brass chandelier.
Criminal damage: A man in the 1900 block of Pleasant Valley Road reported someone punctured five tires to his horse trailer.
Counterfeit: An employee at the Econo Lodge, 1615 E. Liberty St., alleged a man, 37, attempted to exchange a counterfeit $20 bill.

Arrest: After stopping a vehicle for running a red light on state Route 193, police arrested a 27-year-old Youngstown woman on a probation violation charge.
Arrest: After a traffic stop on state Route 193, a 43-year-old Warren man was charged with failure to appear in court to face one count of passing bad checks.
Breaking and entering: Someone smashed a front window at K & amp;P Sports, 3551 Belmont Ave., trying to break in.
Aug. 31
Breaking and entering: Police responded to a fire determined to be arson at Advance Auto Parts, 3179 Belmont Ave., and found that someone broke in through a bay door window. Someone also tossed a cash register through the window of a pickup truck that was inside the building for service.
Theft: An employee at Denny's Restaurant, 4020 Belmont Ave., reported two men and two women left without paying a $25.64 food bill.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 17-year-old girl at her Orchard Avenue residence on a domestic-violence charge after her mother alleged the girl punched her in the neck and back after an earlier argument.
Sept. 1
Vandalism: A man spray-painted a drive-through window at Home Savings and Loan Co., 3500 Belmont Ave., and may have used a crowbar to damage a deposit box.
Arrest: After conducting a traffic stop in the Colonial Plaza on Belmont Avenue, police arrested a 40-year-old Warren woman on a heroin possession charge.
Counterfeit: An employee at a Super 8 Motel, 4250 Belmont Ave., reported a woman in her 20s tried to pass a counterfeit $50 bill.
GIRARD
Sept. 1
Attempted burglary: A manager to an apartment complex in the 500 block of Stull Avenue reported seeing someone trying to pry open a door to an adjacent apartment.
Theft: A man reported $180 taken from his wallet and a check removed from a phone bill at his residence in the 400 block of Ohio Avenue.
Theft: An East Main Street boy reported his brother's X-box game system missing from their residence.
Sept. 2
Assault: A man in the 500 block of Park Avenue reported a man shoved him, causing the victim to lose his balance and fall backward. Also, the victim alleged the man knocked his glasses off during a separate incident.
Theft: A woman left a Shell gas station, 420 S. State St., without paying for $22 worth of gasoline.
Assault: Three Girard boys said two boys, 12 and 13, assaulted and harassed them at Liberty Township Park, 1315 Church Hill-Hubbard Road. A boy, 9, also said the 13-year-old pushed him and twisted his arm.
Sept. 3
Auto theft: A 1991 Olds Cutlass Ciera was stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of South State Street.
