CANTON -- Lauren Teal had nine kills, two aces, two tips and one block Saturday as the Salem High volleyball team defeated Jefferson, 16-14, 15-11.
Sarah Hamilton had three aces, two kills, five blocks and two tips. Allie Rich had one ace, three kills and one block. Jill Barry had 19 assists, two aces and five tips.
Jefferson is 1-2.
Glen Oak 4-15-15, Salem 15-12-13
CANTON -- Teal made 14 kills and one tip for the Quakers (3-2). Jessica Griffith had four aces and four kills.

BOARDMAN -- Jaclyn Corroto had six points, 18 assists and three digs while Whitney Tressel contributed 10 points, five assists and two kills for the Spartans.
April Melquist had six kills and five blocks.
Girard's (1-2) leaders were Erin Stevens with nine assists and one ace, and Kristen Ragozine with three points and four digs.

BOARDMAN -- For Canfield, Stephanie Jarvis had 10 points and 13 kills while Stephanie Wise added eight digs and Brandi Snavely 13 assists.

BOARDMAN -- Jessie Morris had eight kills and five digs while Ali Sfara had 10 points and three kills for the Spartans (2-0).
Corroto made 16 assists and five digs while Melquist had four kills and four blocks.
Canfield (3-2) was led by Natasha Kassim with six points and Jarvis with three kills and three blocks.

BELOIT -- JoEllen Gormsen collected 11 digs and 18 assists for the winners.
For the Warriors, Ashley Armstrong had a point, three kills and three assists while Kate Bailey was in with two points, three kills and five digs.

BELOIT -- Armstrong led the way with 11 points, seven kills and 10 assists.
Bailey aided West Branch with two points, five kills, two assists and 15 passes.
Jill Cofojohn led the Pirates with four kills and Kelly Graham tacked on three kills.
