XCornerburg Happy Seniors will meet Thursday at the Lockwood House, Boardman. Lunch will be served at 11:45 a.m.; the menu will include baked chicken and stuffed pork chops. Greeters will be Mary Ann Caccarozzo and Eleanor Lazor, and Wilbur Baird will give grace. Kitty Saltsman will preside. There will be a 50-50 raffle, and bingo will be played.

XGolden Circle Seniors of St. Nicholas Byzantine Church will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the activity center. Nicholas Terlecky will preside, and Mary Jean Vrabel, Jo Kohl and Ann Hritz will present reports. Luncheon fees will be collected by Dolores Schurko and Flo Filo. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and there will be a 50-50 raffle, cards and board games.

XThe Jewish Community Center will be closed on Labor Day. The Wednesday dairy lunch will be carrot soup, haluski, broccoli, applesauce and lemon tart.
