ROAD WORK Ohio Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will work on roads in these counties this week:

MAHONING COUNTY
I-680 in Youngstown: Various daytime lane restrictions in both directions just south of U.S. Route 62, part of a $315,000 project to upgrade signals from state Route 11 to the Ohio Turnpike. Completion: Fall.
South Avenue, Boardman: Reduced to one lane in each direction between Presidential Drive and Western Reserve Road for widening. Completion: Early fall.
State Route 164, Beaver Township: Closed between state Route 7 and state Route 165 for widening and lane construction. Detour provided. Completion: Summer 2004.
U.S. Route 62, Canfield: Closed at Raccoon Road for intersection upgrade. Detour is posted. Completion: Fall 2003.
U.S. Route 224, Poland: The bridge over Yellow Creek is closed for replacement. Detour posted. Completion: Late fall 2003.
Interstate 76 twin bridges, Milton Township: Two lanes open in each direction, using crossovers to divert traffic to the new eastbound bridge while work continues on the closed westbound bridge. Completion: Fall.
State Route 711, Youngstown: Bridge closed in both directions. Also the following closures: Dearborn Avenue at Sarah Street; Dearborn Avenue from Burlington to Robinwood.
U.S. Route 422, Youngstown: Restricted to one lane in each direction from Division Street to the Girard city limits.
State Route 164, Beaver Township: To reopen to traffic between state Route 7 and state Route 165. Work on state Route 7 to add turn lanes at intersection of state Routes 7 and 164 will not affect traffic. Completion: Summer of 2004.
TRUMBULL COUNTY
State Route 7, Brookfield: Route 7 at the south intersection of Route 82 will have various lane restrictions; traffic maintained by use of flaggers as approaches are widened and left turn lanes added. Completion: Fall.
State Route 46, Niles: Reduced to one lane in each direction over the Niles Viaduct over Mahoning River for bridge work. Starting Tuesday, state Route 46 will be reduced to one lane from the Niles city limits to the viaduct during daylight hours. Flaggers will maintain traffic during the day. Completion: Late fall.
State Route 193, Liberty: A northbound lane at state Route 304 is closed. Various daytime lane closures between Colonial Drive and state Route 304 for construction of signal pole foundations.
U.S. Route 422, Girard: Reduced to one lane in each direction from Interstate 80 to the northern city limits for widening.
State Route 45, North Bristol: Reduced to one lane over Baughman Creek during bridge replacement. Signals will control traffic. Completion: Late summer.
State Route 82, Vienna: Various lane restrictions between Howland-Wilson Road and the state Route 82-state Route 11 interchange for light installation and resurfacing. Completion: Late fall.
