Could he be your perfect guy -- in disguise?
BRAVEHEART
"The first time this guy asked me out, I actually thought he was gay! He was so friendly to all the other girls, and that's just the way I thought of him. When he called and asked if he could come over, I told him my parents would get mad at me because I'm not allowed to have boys over. But he persisted. The next day when I came home from school, he was there in my living room -- talking to my parents and asking them if it was OK to take me on a date! That's when I realized that if he was brave enough to face my parents, I should give him a chance. And I'm glad I did!"
PREP SCHOOL
"I'm dating the perfect guy, but when I first met him, I thought there was no way I'd ever be seen in public with him, let alone date him. He's a preppy guy, and I used to like the thugs -- preps seemed so stuck-up. But he kept asking me out. So finally I decided to give him one chance. We went out to dinner and ended up getting into a Jell-O fight! That's when we really started to click. I thought he would mess up by wanting sex or checking out other girls, but I was so wrong. He treats me like gold: He compliments me, opens doors and pulls out chairs, and always makes sure I'm comfort-able with whatever we're doing. I wouldn't give him up for anything."
