Happy end to kitten's tale
Happy end to kitten's tale
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Peanut, the stray kitten found outside the Lawrence County Government Center, has found a home. The kitten was initially taken in by Judge Ralph Pratt of Lawrence County Common Pleas Court until a permanent home could be found. The judge said he could not keep the male orange tabby because he already has four cats.
An employee of the county court administrator's staff took Peanut after the kitten visited an area veterinarian and was treated for fleas and worms. Peanut's new owner, who asked not to be identified, said the kitten is doing well.
