Ammunition specialist
Army Pvt. Rashad E. Adams graduated from the ammunition specialist course at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Ala. He is the son of Emary Lee and Idella Adams of Youngstown and is a 2002 graduate of Chaney High School, Youngstown.
Computer graduate
Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Christopher G. Jones graduated from the electronic computer and switching systems apprentice course at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. Jones is the son of George P. and Jane Jones of Youngstown and is a 1999 graduate of Calvary Christian Academy, Youngstown.
Flight coordinator
Army Pfc. Justin R. Wagner graduated from the seven-week aviation/flight operations coordinator course at Fort Rucker, Ala. Wagner is the son of Pamela S. Drennen of Sharpsville, Pa., and Reed Wagner of Greenville, Pa. He graduated in 1998 from Reynolds High School, Greenville, and received an associate degree in 2000 from ITT Technical Institute, Youngstown.
Aerospace maintenance
Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Gerald K. Groves Jr. graduated from the aerospace maintenance apprentice course (C-130 aircraft) at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. He is the son of Gerald K. and Deborah L. Groves of Howland-Wilson Road, Bazetta Township, and is a 1993 graduate of Loudonville High School, Ohio.
Satellite communications
Army Pvt. 2nd Class William Reinhart, son of Diane and Chuck Reinhart of Mineral Ridge, graduated from satellite communications training at Fort Gordon, Ga., and has begun a three-year tour of duty in Okinawa, Japan, where he lives with his wife, the former Becky Robertson of Springfield. Reinhart is a 2001 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School.

2nd lieutenant
Rocco A. Favorite was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Air National Guard after he graduated from the six-week, in-resident Air National Guard Academy of Military Science course at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base, Tenn.
Favorite, a maintenance officer assigned with the 910th Air Wing in Vienna, is a son of Rocky J. and Patricia A. Favorite of New Castle, Pa. He is a 1996 graduate of Shenango High School, New Castle, and a 2001 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, State College.

Adam N. Reuter, son of Richard K. and Deborah A. Reuter of East Liverpool. He graduated in 2000 from East Liverpool High School and is attending Ohio State University in Columbus.
Megan B. Luteran, daughter of Michal and Karen J. Luteran of Hermitage, Pa. She is a student at YSU and a 2000 graduate of West Middlesex Area High School, Pa.
Michelle L. Terry, daughter of Diane F. Terry of Ellwood City, Pa. She is a 1999 graduate of Lincoln High School, Ellwood City, and a student at Indiana University, Pa.
Michael J. Halloran, son of Michael W. and Gail F. Halloran of Youngstown. He is a 2000 graduate of Boardman High School and a student at John Carroll University, Cleveland.
Jared W. Souder, son of Sara R. Souder of Chester, W.Va., and grandson of Elbert D. Talkington of East Liverpool. He is a student at YSU.
Leader's training
Shannon S. Maxin graduated from the Army ROTC four-week Leader's Training Course at Fort Knox, Ky. Maxin is attending John Carroll University, University Heights. She is a daughter of Donna J. Maxin of Warren and is a 2001 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, Warren.

In western Pacific
Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Justin T. Fincham, son of JoEllen Fincham of Youngstown and Jack Fincham of Columbiana, is on a six-month deployment to the western Pacific while assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson, based in Bremerton, Wash. Fincham is a 1997 graduate of Youngstown Chaney High School.
Missions support
Army Reserve Sgt. 1st Class Margaret M. Hyatt has returned from an overseas forward operating location, where she supported the missions of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operations Iraqi Freedom. Hyatt, a subsistence supervisor, is the daughter of Letha E. Pihonsky of Poland and Robert A. Baldock of Evansville, Ind.
Off coast of Liberia
Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Thomas L. Mills Jr., son of Charlotte McLaughlin of Andover and Thomas L. Mills Sr. of Leechburg, Pa., is stationed off the coast of Liberia as part of the USS Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group. Mills' ship, the USS Nashville, is an amphibious transport dock.
