XFraternal Order of Eagles 3298, 1655 Raccoon Road, Austintown, will serve dinners from 5 to 8 p.m. All-you-can-eat fish dinners are $6.95; four-piece honey-dipped chicken dinners will be $8; all-you-can-eat spaghetti meals with two meatballs or rigatoni for $5; and pork chop dinners will be $7.95. XHoly Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod, Spanish rice or haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries, coleslaw, string beans, applesauce, bread, and coffee or tea. XHoly Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pirogi and hot pirogi lunches. XHubbard VFW 3767 Auxiliary, 710 W. Liberty St., will hold a fish fry from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6.75 for large dinners, baked or fried, and $5 for small dinners. XSt. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will be baking Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at (330) 788-0025 between 8 and noon only. Pickup will be until 1 p.m.
XSt. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Youngstown, will make boil-in-the-bag sweet cabbage and potato and cheese pirogi. Pickup for walk-ins will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Byzantine Center at the Grove, 3801 Shady Run Road, Youngstown.
XSt. Paul the Apostle Church, Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Frozen pirogi also will be available.
XSt. Rocco's Episcopal Church will serve spaghetti, cavatelli, and sausage polenta dinners from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parish hall, 239 Trumbull Ave., Liberty Township. Adult dinners are $6, and children's are $3 for those 6 to 12. Meals are free to those 5 and under. Carryouts will be available to patrons providing their own containers, or a container will be provided for 50 cents.
XSt. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders are taken at (330) 747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 2 Friday, based upon availability. The cost is $3.50 a dozen. Lunches are served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday. XFirst United Methodist Church, 3711 state Route 46, Mineral Ridge, will serve turkey dinners from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Meals are $7 for adults, $3.50 for those 6 to 12, and free for those 5 and under. Carryouts will be available.
XGood Hope Lutheran Church, 12030 Market St., North Lima, will hold a kraut fest family style dinner featuring kolbasi, kraut, mashed potatoes, applesauce, bread, desserts and beverage from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds will benefit Jason Pirock who is suffering from a rare lymphoma cancer.
