Slippery Rock Twp. cycle accident hurts 2

NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Two people were thrown from a motorcycle on Old Princeton Road in Slippery Rock Township. Pennsylvania State Police said Thomas G. Hall and Katherine A. Hall, both 52, were not wearing helmets.
They apparently were trying to avoid a deer when they were thrown from the Harley-Davidson King motorcycle at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, police said. Police did not release their address.
Authorities said Thomas Hall was taken to Jameson Hospital and Katherine Hall was taken to another hospital by medical helicopter. Their conditions were not available before press time.
