Denver linebacker John Mobley bruised his spinal cord during the Broncos' game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday and was being held in the hospital overnight for observation.
X-rays were negative and Mobley had regained full feeling in his arms and legs.
Broncos trainer Steve Antonopulos said Mobley had some tingling in his hand after he was taken off the field in the second quarter following a delay of about 10 minutes. He was taken to the Maryland shock trauma center where an examination showed no broken bones.
Mobley, a former All-Pro, was injured with 1:37 remaining in the first half when he collided with teammate Kelly Herndon as they tackled Jamal Lewis.
