Aquinas rips Campbell 58-36 Friday night

LOUISVILLE -- Tim Underwood scored five touchdowns -- four on runs of 4, 5, 15 and 15 yards, and rushed for 198 yards on 19 carries -- to power St. Thomas Aquinas past Campbell Memorial 58-36 Friday night.
Quarterback Jim Cheesler was involved in three TDs to also lead Aquinas (4-6). Cheesler threw two TD passes, one to Underwood for 30 yards and the other to John Jackson covering 50 yards.
Campbell (6-4) got career-best performances by senior quarterback Rick Quinn and sophomore receiver-back Derrell Johnson.
Quinn completed 21-of-32 passes for a career-high 397 yards and one interception, while Johnson caught 10 passes for a career-best 195 yards. Johnson also rushed for 56 yards in five carries.
Johnson scored three TDs, two on runs of 45 and 12 yards and the other on a 50-yard pass from Quinn, who also ran for TDs from the 8- and 5-yard lines. The game was not reported Friday night.
