Salem rips past East Liverpool

SALEM -- Lance Buckley gained 122 yards on 17 rushes and scored on a 5-yard touchdown run as Salem defeated visiting East Liverpool 42-14 in a non-league game Friday.
Quarterback Landon Heath hit on 9 of 16 passes for 135 yards and had a 6-yard touchdown pass to Grant Sevek to lead the Quakers (5-5).
Salem's Zac Grey returned an interception 62 yards and a punt 75 yards for touchdowns.
Ryan McCallister returned a blocked punt 17 yards for another Quaker touchdown.
Bo Salas of East Liverpool (4-6) rushed for 128 yards on 15 carries, which included an 80-yard touchdown run.
